Fox News was informed by police sources that two NYPD officers were attacked in Times Square on Friday night by eleven teenage members of the ultra-violent Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua.

In connection with the alleged attack, which saw the migrant crew hurling rocks, basketballs, and glass bottles at NYPD cops who were responding to a heist, five suspects—all illegal aliens from Venezuela—have been taken into custody.

According to police sources, two of the children were picked up by their migrant parents, while the youngest suspect in the attack, who is 12 years old, is facing adult charges of assault and riot.

Adams claimed to have heard from city residents who claimed the accused were too young to face harsh penalties, but he insisted it was untrue.

Authorities will track down the remaining suspects, according to Department of Homeland Security Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin.

In order to capture dangerous illegal aliens, Border Czar Tom Homan suggested that the NYPD and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) collaborate more.

The juvenile suspects are known to the authorities and have been connected to numerous robberies in New York since 2022, according to police sources. They have, however, been let back onto the streets after each arrest.

Using the city’s gang database, which the city council is working to eliminate, authorities were able to locate the suspect.

Two minors, ages 16 and 17, were taken into custody and charged in relation to the alleged crimes on Friday night, the NYPD stated Tuesday.

The 16-year-old, whose identity has not been made public, faces charges of third-degree menacing, second-degree rioting, and second-degree impeding governmental administration.

More serious charges against the 17-year-old include first-degree reckless endangerment, second-degree obstructing governmental administration, second-degree riot, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and attempted assault on a peace officer, police officer, firefighter, or emergency medical services professional.

Yeferxon Jose Mijares Hernandez, a 19-year-old adult suspect, was arrested on Sunday. He faces charges of second-degree rioting, third-degree attempted assault, and second-degree impeding governmental administration.

Adams chastised the city council on Tuesday for their selective outrage toward victims of crime, pointing to the tragic death of a grandmother in Harlem from a stray bullet.
