Three teenagers are facing various charges after allegedly stealing a car and leading police on a chase that culminated in a wreck in Simi Valley.

Officers noticed a vehicle driving without headlights near Erringer Road and Cochran Street just before 2 a.m. on Saturday.

When officers ran the license plate, they discovered that the vehicle had been stolen.

When police conducted a traffic check, the driver refused to pull over, resulting in a pursuit through the city.

The pursuit ended when the driver lost control of the vehicle and it slid off the road around First St. and Flower Glen St.

Three female minors, ages 13 and 14, were discovered in the vehicle with serious injuries and taken to a nearby trauma facility for treatment.

The teenagers, Simi Valley residents, have been charged with possession of a stolen car, conspiracy, felony evasion, and possession of burglary tools.

After treatment, they were released to hospital workers and guardians.
