According to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office, a young girl of fourteen years old was taken into custody on Wednesday after leading law enforcement officers on a vehicle pursuit.
At approximately ten minutes before ten o’clock at night, a woman was reportedly carjacked at gunpoint as she entered a store located at 4030 Sunset Boulevard.
The helicopter in the sheriff’s department located the vehicle and made an attempt to pull the driver over. After that, the sheriff’s office reported that deputies were lead on a pursuit, which ultimately came to a stop when the vehicle wrecked near the intersection of Folsom Boulevard and Manlove Road.
By 10:15 p.m., the offender, who was 14 years old, had been captured and put into custody. No one was hurt in the incident.
