Three people were detained for a series of store thefts in Southern California.
The Irvine Police Department identified the suspects as follows:
- Jaylaine Stewart, 21, of Long Beach
- Derryon Burks, 25, of Los Angeles
- Turll Patrick Watson, 31, of Los Angeles
On March 31, the three attacked a Grocery Outlet store, with a female suspect distracting an employee and a male suspect stealing medication from the shelves. The third suspect waited in a getaway car.
When the employee confronted them, the male suspect shoved him and fled the scene.

Police were notified and began an investigation. They were later discovered in Oceanside, reportedly perpetrating another theft.
All three individuals were taken into custody. Inside their vehicle, authorities discovered a huge amount of stolen stuff, including health and beauty products, pharmaceuticals, and more.
Investigators concluded that the trio was responsible for at least five retail thefts in Orange and San Diego counties earlier that day.
The three were arrested for robbery, conspiracy, and organized retail theft and brought into the Orange County Jail.
