35-year-old Fargo man arrested by SWAT for outstanding felony warrants

On Tuesday afternoon, a man was taken into custody following a high-risk, knock-and-announce search warrant executed by the Red River Valley SWAT Team, Fargo Police, and the Metro Street Crimes Unit.

The incident occurred just after 3 p.m. at an apartment complex located in the 800 block of 17th Street South. That location is situated in the Carl Ben area.

Authorities have indicated that, given the suspects’ criminal backgrounds, the Red River Valley SWAT Team was called in to execute the search warrant and ensure the suspect was taken into custody without incident. The individual reportedly followed the instructions provided by the SWAT Team and was subsequently taken into custody by the FPD.

The SWAT Team deployed a device that produced a loud noise and a bright flash to divert attention during the operation. The FSDD serves as a diversion for suspects, enabling officers to carry out potentially hazardous tasks.

A 35-year-old man from Fargo, Antoren Bell, has been taken into custody for not showing up in court regarding several outstanding warrants, which include serious charges such as delivering fentanyl, terrorizing, and fleeing from law enforcement, among others.
