Police are looking for a hit-and-run driver who murdered a pedestrian in San Bernardino County.
On April 17, about 11 p.m., Rialto Police Department responded to an accident at the junction of Foothill Boulevard and Pepper Avenue.
Officers discovered the injured victim, named only as a 45-year-old man, lying on the ground. Paramedics attempted life-saving efforts, but the guy was pronounced dead on the site.
A preliminary investigation found that the victim was crossing Pepper Avenue in a marked crosswalk when the suspect struck him and fled the scene.
There were no further details revealed. Detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in providing any evidence or details about the fatal crash.
