Driver arrested for DUI after late-night rollover crash in Los Angeles

Los Angeles, CA – A suspect in a DUI incident, potentially returning from a Dodgers game, was taken into custody following a collision with a pole that caused his vehicle to roll over in the Westside area of Los Angeles on Sunday night.

A collision involving two vehicles occurred just after 11:30 p.m. on the 1800 block of Bundy Drive, close to Nebraska Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a vehicle that had flipped over alongside a damaged light pole. The footage captured the vehicle’s driver, seemingly unharmed, seated on the sidewalk while conversing with law enforcement officials.

He underwent a sobriety assessment at the location before being placed in handcuffs.

A representative from the Los Angeles Police Department has verified that an individual was taken into custody on allegations of operating a vehicle while impaired. The representative refrained from naming the individual involved.

A freelance media outlet has indicated that the individual had consumed alcohol at the Dodgers game earlier that evening and believed they were fit to drive home. However, law enforcement has yet to verify any additional information regarding the investigation.

The spokesperson reported that there was no information available regarding the condition of the other driver involved in the accident, but noted that there appeared to be no indication of anyone being taken from the scene by ambulance.
