Americans may calculate how much the “big beautiful bill” will save them individually if Congress approve the comprehensive package, according to a website published by the White House on Tuesday.
The website, which went live on Tuesday, states, “We are preparing your tax cuts,” and it features a picture of President Donald Trump and a statement praising the fact that “American Industry” has thrown its support behind the bill.
The One Big Beautiful Bill Act, a multitrillion-dollar piece of legislation that advances Trump’s agenda on taxes, immigration, energy, defense, and the national debt, is now being worked on by Senate legislators. In May, the House passed its version of the bill.
The law, which is more than 1,000 pages long, is criticized for adding trillions to the government’s already soaring deficit and debt of nearly $36 trillion. But according to U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, this is manageable.
A calculator on the new website calculates the tax savings that Americans might anticipate in the event that the legislation is passed. To calculate the savings, users must enter their weekly base salary, weekly tip, and weekly overtime premium pay.
For instance, an individual would save $2,246 year and $187 per month if they received $665 per week, $260 in tips, and $100 in overtime premium pay.
An individual would save $2,954 annually and $246 per month if they received $200 per week in base pay, $400 in gratuities, and $200 in overtime. The “big beautiful bill” would do away with overtime and tip taxes, two key components of Trump’s tax platform that helped him win over voters in 2024.
Additionally, the new website boasts over 1,000 endorsements from American groups and sectors, including backing from companies like DoorDash and Uber.
Trump has consistently urged senators to enact the comprehensive legislation in order to finance his program, claiming that it will strengthen border security and lower taxes for all Americans.
“Republicans MUST UNITE behind, ‘THE ONE, BIG BEAUTIFUL BILL!’ Not only does it cut Taxes for ALL Americans, but it will kick millions of Illegal Aliens off of Medicaid to PROTECT it for those who are the ones in real need. The Country will suffer greatly without this Legislation, with their Taxes going up 65%,” Trump stated on Truth Social on May 16.
A few Republicans in the Senate have stated that they will not back the bill since it will raise the national debt ceiling. Sen. Rand Paul, a Republican from Kentucky, informed reporters Monday that the bill would increase the debt ceiling by $5 trillion.
As speculation grew that the Republican senator might not back the measure, Trump chastised Paul over the weekend, saying he was about to align himself with the “Radical Left Democrats” and calling for a 68% tax increase on Americans if he opposed it.
“Rand will be playing right into the hands of the Democrats, and the GREAT people of Kentucky will never forgive him! The GROWTH we are experiencing, plus some cost cutting later on, will solve ALL problems. America will be greater than ever before!” Trump stated to Truth Social on Saturday.

To set up a busy June for the upper chamber, several Republican senators have thrown their support behind the plan and are pushing to approve it by a self-imposed deadline of July 4.
In an interview on Friday from the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in California, Republican Senator Mike Rounds of South Dakota warned that if the Senate doesn’t approve the legislation, American people will have to pay more taxes.
“We don’t have a choice. We have to pass the bill to get the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act back in place on a permanent basis,” he stated. “If we don’t do that, the average American family is going to see about a $2,400-a-year increase in their taxes. So we have to do something. And it’s critical that we pass this bill. We’re going to work with the House. We’re going to get this deal done. The Senate will put their mark of approval on it, but nonetheless, we want to do everything we can as quickly as we can to take care of this so that we can get on to other things. The president has made it very clear he wants to get this done. We want to help in that regard. This is our job.”
