30-year-old man fatally shot in Houston parking garage, gunman remains unidentified

A man who was taken to the hospital following a shooting in the Galleria area of Houston yesterday has succumbed to his injuries, while the perpetrator remains unidentified and at large.

A shooting took place close to 5000 West Alabama Street at approximately 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 3rd.

The name of the deceased, a 30-year-old male, is awaiting notification to relatives by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

Authorities are on the scene following reports of gunfire in a parking structure. Upon arrival, authorities found an individual who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.

Reacting The victim was taken by paramedics from the Houston Fire Department to Ben Taub General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 10:55 p.m. last night.

Authorities noticed a black Chrysler 300 with broken windows, likely from gunfire, speeding away from the scene. The car was found in the vicinity, and three individuals were apprehended, interrogated, and subsequently let go.

Authorities continue to look into the matter.
