Disneyland Resort to Bring Back Halloween Festivities Starting in August

As Halloween Time makes its return to the Disneyland park in August, the park will be transformed into a veritable paradise filled with frightening pleasures. The celebrations will take place from the 22nd of August until the 31st of October.

Oogie Boogie Bash is back

At Disney California Adventure Park, the well-known activity known as Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party will be available on certain nights between the dates of August 17 and October 31.

It is possible to participate in immersive treat trails, the “Frightfully Fun Parade,” and Villains Grove during this event, which requires separate tickets.

On June 24 and 25, tickets for the pre-sale will be made accessible to Magic Key holders, and on June 26, tickets will be made available to the general public. There is a breakdown of the prices of the tickets available here.

The entire resort is filled with spooky thrills

There will be a return of Halloween overlays to some of the most popular attractions, such as the Haunted Mansion Holiday at Disneyland Park and the Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark at Disney California Adventure.

Radiator Springs will also make a comeback at DCA under the name “Radiator Screams,” with themed overlays for Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween and Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree.

Within the Disney Theatre in Hollywood Land, “Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!” will be replaced with “Mickey’s Trick and Treat,” a brand-new interactive entertainment that is geared towards families and will make its premiere this fall.

On certain nights at Disneyland, the nighttime spectacular known as “Halloween Screams” will once again be held, and it will once again light up the sky with projections, special effects, and fireworks performance.

In addition, from the 29th of August to the 31st of October, guests will have the opportunity to participate in Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit treasure hunt, during which they will search for pumpkins with a character theme in order to win a prize.

A celebration of Día de los Muertos is held at Plaza de la Familia

The return of Plaza de la Familia to DCA, which was inspired by Pixar’s “Coco,” will take place from August 22nd until November 2nd.

During the celebration, there will be a unique meet-and-greet with Miguel dedicated to honouring the traditions of Día de los Muertos. The party will also include authentic Mexican cuisine, arts & crafts, and live entertainment.

Celebrations commemorating Disneyland’s seventieth anniversary will proceed

During the whole Halloween season, Disneyland Resort will continue to provide a variety of entertainment options, including as the “Paint the Night” parade, the “World of Colour Happiness!” show, and the “Tapestry of Happiness” projections.
