According to law enforcement officials, a squatter is accused of shooting and killing his roommate after he was requested to pay merely $250 in rent.
The squatter allegedly shouted, “I’m going to kill them all,” as he marched towards the residence.
Angel Gomez Montanez, age 21, had not paid the rent at a residence located outside of Houston, Texas, for more than three months when his roommate Christopher Rodriguez Lara, age 18, requested that the delinquent pay the meager amount.
The two got into a disagreement, and Montanez eventually departed the shared house with his possessions. He did not return until June 12th, when he claimed that he had the $250 that was due for rent.
When Lara walked outside, Montanez allegedly shot him on the spot and fled the scene. Montanez insisted on providing the dough directly to the 18-year-old even though he was aware of the situation.
Montanez was driven away by a witness who was nine years old and armed with a rock. However, the witness then hid when the insane alleged gunman began strolling back towards the house.
According to the report, Montanez, who was nine years old at the time, informed the investigators, “I’m going to kill all of them.”
According to the allegations, Montanez fired one more shot, which the investigators believe appeared to be directed at Lara’s brother.

“The only thing we told him was that we needed the money for rent,” Zulekya Ortiz stated, referring to the fact that Montanez had been residing in the residence that belonged to her family for the duration of the three months.
Her brother-in-law, Lara, was the subject of Ortiz’s statement that “he was the happiness in this home.” It was my children that adored him.
Based on the information provided by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, Montanez was taken into custody on June 15 and is currently facing charges of murder.
