A driver going the wrong way was killed when they hit an Audi head-on on a highway in Salt Lake City on Sunday afternoon.

Around noon on April 6, Utah Highway Patrol Cpl. Luis Silva said that police were called to reports of a blue Toyota Camry going the wrong way on northbound I-15 near 700 South. Silva told 2News that the Camry had been going east in the westbound lanes of I-80 before going south on I-15 northbound.

The Camry then hit an Audi going north near milepost 307. The driver going the wrong way was killed, but the driver of the Audi was taken to a nearby hospital and is in safe condition.
