DHS Pays Tribute to Mother of Autistic Girl Raped and Killed by MS-13 in Mother’s Day Honor

In a sombre Mother’s Day statement, the Department of Homeland Security will pay tribute to the mother of an autistic woman who was unlawfully raped and killed by an MS-13 gang member in the United States.

A solemn video starring Tammy Nobles, whose 20-year-old daughter Kayla Hamilton was strangled to death in 2022 by El Salvadorian native Walter Martinez, is part of the memorial.

In the almost three-minute video, Hamilton’s mother describes the shock she felt when she found out her daughter had been murdered by an illegal gangbanger. She believed the Biden Administration had protected the border from such threats.

In the video, which was produced and made public by the Victims of Immigration Crime Engagement (VOICE) Office, Nobles states, “I was absolutely shocked, I did not know what to think.”

“I thought the border, you know Homeland Security under the Biden Administration was doing their job. These are not just children who are coming across the border, these are also vicious, violent gang members who come across the border and do not care about a human life.”

According to the video, she later expressed gratitude to President Trump and DHS Secretary Kristi Noem for their efforts to rid the nation of “these monsters” and put children’s safety first.

Martinez, who entered the country during the Biden Administration, admitted to killing Hamilton and received a 70-year prison term.

The release includes a statement from Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin of the Department of Homeland Security, which reads, “This Mother’s Day, Secretary Noem is honouring Tammy Nobles and all the mothers who lost loved ones to illegal crime.”

“Kayla’s life was tragically taken by a criminal illegal alien and known MS-13 gang member who was released into our country by the previous administration. We must never forget Kayla, and the many other beautiful American lives lost to illegal alien crime,” she added.

“These sons, daughters, mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters should still be with us today, and their absence is a painful reminder, every day, of the importance of a secure border. President Trump and Secretary Noem will continue to fight for the victims of illegal alien crime.”

The gruesome quadruple murder in a Long Island park on April 11, 2017, and other horrific atrocities carried out by MS-13 members that resulted in the loss of loved ones will also be highlighted at Sunday’s dedication.

Omar Antonio Villalta, the sixth gang member to be sentenced in the horrific case, was given a 55-year prison term on Wednesday for his part in brutally using machetes to slice the four children to death.

When Noem took over her prominent role earlier this year, she relaunched VOICE, a government organisation that assists victims and families affected by crimes committed by illegal immigrants.

Additionally, Trump listed infamous gangs like MS-13 as international terrorist organisations.
