ORLANDO, FL. The Miss Ultimate USA National Scholarship Pageant, held from July 14–19 at the Rosen Centre Hotel and Conference Center in Orlando, Florida, featured a strong Shelby County representation.

Vincent’s Blakelee Davis does not take the title of Miss Ultimate USA Jr. Teen lightly.

It was rather unexpected because I was the youngest in my division, but I feel incredibly fortunate and thankful that the judges saw my heart and the reasons I should win the title of Ultimate USA Jr. Teen, Davis remarked.

With her new title and the platform it provides, Davis is thrilled about the chance she will have to change the lives of girls across the nation.

I’ll be promoting the Miss Ultimate USA service project, the Mirror Mirror Project, to girls nationwide throughout the year as a representative of the Miss Ultimate USA brand, Davis stated. Reminding them of their beauty and love, as well as their uniqueness and strength, is important because many young women occasionally lose sight of it.

Davis intends to reach as many individuals as possible around the country in order to have the greatest possible impact.

“I sincerely hope to succeed in introducing the Mirror Mirror Project to girls nationwide,” Davis stated. The primary goal I would like to achieve as the Ultimate USA Jr. Teen is expanding my volunteer project across the country. This year, I want at least one ambassador from each of the 50 states to represent my service project.

Davis’s experience cheering has boosted her self-esteem and equipped her for pageant competition. Her generosity and leadership abilities, which made her stand out in the pageant, have also been acknowledged in that area of her life.

According to Davis, it somewhat helps because performing is similar to being on stage. I received recognition as the UCA’s pin it forward recipient during cheer camp. Ten or eleven girls were selected, including me. Pin it forward demonstrates the benevolence and leadership qualities that a true leader ought to possess. After receiving a pin, I was able to forward it to another girl who followed suit.

To obtain this distinction, Davis had to work very hard. Without the assistance and encouragement of those in her immediate vicinity, she could not have achieved her goal of being Miss Ultimate USA Jr. Teen.

According to Blakelee Davis’ mother, Codie Lee Davis, her daughter set a goal to place in the top 16 at nationals this year and put in a ton of work behind the scenes. Thanks to her instructors, friends, and anybody else who was ready to watch her walk or give her a random interview question, her efforts and commitment paid off.
