On Friday, the names of six Chinese and Italian tourists who were killed in a catastrophic collision in Yellowstone National Park earlier this month were made public by the Idaho police department.
The collision occurred when a pickup truck crashed with their passenger van.
A crash that occurred on May 1 resulted in the deaths of Jian Shi, 56, from Shanghai, Xiaoming Jiang, 66, from Guilin, China, and Ivana Wen, 28 from Milan, according to claims made by the Idaho State Police.
Li Nie, 64, and Aifeng Wan, 53, both of Arcadia, were two of the travellers who passed away. Both of them were inhabitants of the state of California.
Yu Zhang, who was thirty years old and from Eastvale, California, was the driver of the vehicle. He was also slain.
It was a van that contained fourteen individuals.
12 of the passengers were of Chinese nationality, while one of them was of Italian nationality, according to the police. The injured survivors were transported to hospitals in the surrounding area.
The driver of the truck also passed away. The authorities had already determined that he was Isaiah Moreno, a resident of Humble, Texas.
According to the findings of the investigation, the Mercedes van piloted by Zhang was involved in a collision with the Dodge Ram driven by Moreno, which had crossed the centre line.

The investigation into the reason why the truck crossed the centre line is still ongoing, according to the police say.
During the spring, the highway that was involved in the accident, which is located south of West Yellowstone, Montana, provides a means of transportation between Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons.
This is before a route that runs north-south is ploughed and the park is completely opened for the summer season.
Each year, Yellowstone National Park is visited by millions of people, making it one of the largest national parks in the United States.
