Montgomery County police are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a shoplifter who assaulted staff members who attempted to apprehend her.
The event took place inside a Target store in New Caney on May 19.
According to the authorities, the woman tried to hide things in her basket so that the self-checkout would not scan them. She drove her cart through Target personnel who attempted to confront her and fled the store.
She was seen driving off in a Toyota Sedan on camera.
