Fullerton Police Crack Down on Crime With More Than 30 Arrests in couple of days

Over thirty persons were taken into custody in Fullerton during what the police referred to as a “active” couple of days for a variety of offenses.

The Fullerton Police Department uploaded an Instagram post that included several facts about some of the major investigations that were conducted, but it did not disclose the specifics of many of the instances.

“The past couple of days have been active for the Fullerton Police Department, with officers and detectives responding to a range of incidents and making significant progress in multiple investigations,” according to the post.

According to the post, authorities were contacted in one instance to investigate a car break-in that also involved the theft of a handgun.

In addition to recovering the stolen goods and other stolen material from unrelated cases, they were able to ascertain that the suspect was lodging at a nearby motel.

According to police, that individual was taken into custody and charged with a number of felonies.

They received a call about vandalism near Lemon Street and Valley View Drive that same day. They came upon a suspect who attempted to escape on foot while they were scouring the area. A short foot chase led to their arrest.

According to the post, shortly after this encounter, police conducted a traffic stop near Orangethorpe Avenue and Magnolia Avenue and discovered illegal drugs and a loaded weapon inside the car. On several criminal and misdemeanor offenses, the driver of the car was arrested.

A statue that had been taken from a city residence was also found by the officers. They did not disclose whether anyone was taken into custody for the huge heist, but it was found and given back to its rightful owner.

“In total, Fullerton Police made more than 30 arrests over Thursday and Friday,” according to the post. “Arrests included charges for DUI, narcotics offenses, outstanding warrants, and various other crimes.”
