The Carlisle Police Department is looking for the identity of a hit-and-run driver who struck a girl in Cumberland County on Wednesday.
Officers responded to the incident in the 500 block of North West Street in Carlisle Borough around 8:44 p.m.
Before they arrived, dispatchers reported that the youngster who was struck went into her home, and the striking car pulled over to the side.
According to one recent story, as authorities arrived, the automobile fled the scene and turned down Lincoln Street. According to police, the driver avoided contact with them and did not give aid or provide any other information.
Officers stated they searched the area but were unable to locate the car.
According to authorities, the girl was struck, resulting in minor scrapes and bruises.
Police are seeking for the public’s assistance in identifying the driver of the striking vehicle.
According to the allegation, the distinctive vehicle is a red sedan driven by a white female with blonde hair.
