Authorities seize drugs, arrest 2 during home search in Marion

Illegal drugs were found and two people were arrested as a result of a search warrant at a Marion residence.

A news statement states that the Marion Police Department, Grant County Sheriff’s Office, and JEAN Team Drug Task Force investigated the illegal drug trade.

The following things were allegedly taken from a Marion residence in the 100 block of N. E. Street after police secured a search warrant for it on Tuesday:

  • 10.9 grams of marijuana
  • 7.1 grams of hydrocodone pills
  • 12.2 grams of fentanyl
  • 32.9 grams of methamphetamine
  • 1.7 grams of M30 fentanyl pills
  • 12.4 grams of legend drugs/pills
  • Packaging material, scales and paraphernalia

In Grant County, the following people were taken into custody and charged with preliminary offenses:

40-year-old Tracey Oxendine

  • One count of possession of cocaine or narcotic drug with intent to deliver, a Level 2 felony
  • One count of dealing in methamphetamine, a Level 2 felony
  • One count of possession of cocaine or narcotic drug with intent to deliver, a Level 3 felony
  • One count of dealing in a schedule two controlled substance, a Level 3 felony
  • One count of possession of cocaine or narcotic drug with intent to deliver, a Level 4 felony
  • One count of possession of a legend drug, a Level 6 felony
  • One count of maintaining a common nuisance, a Level 6 felony
  • Two drug-related misdemeanors

35-year-old Tyrell Lenior

  • One count of possession of cocaine or narcotic drug with intent to deliver, a Level 2 felony
  • One count of dealing in methamphetamine, a Level 2 felony
  • One count of possession of cocaine or narcotic drug with intent to deliver, a Level 3 felony
  • One count of dealing in a schedule two controlled substance, a Level 3 felony
  • One count of possession of a legend drug, a Level 6 felony
  • One count of maintaining a common nuisance, a Level 6 felony
  • Two drug-related misdemeanors

According to the press statement, Lenior and Oxendine were taken to the Grant County Jail. According to officials, the inquiry is still ongoing.
