Amber Group’s Chief Lawyer and head of global legal and compliance, Benjamin, will strengthen the firm’s risk management capabilities.
Amber Group today announced the appointment of their Chief Legal Officer, Benjamin Bai. He joins Amber Group from Ant Group where he served as Vice President and Chief IP Litigation Counsel.
Amber Group has had a big promotion, appointing Benjamin Bai as their new global head of legal.
Benjamin has recently joined Amber Group as the company’s new Chief Legal Officer. He brings over a decade of experience in corporate law and is tasked with managing compliance frameworks while keeping an eye on future risks. Benjamin will also be working closely with Amber Group’s leadership team.
As the son of a wealthy entrepreneur, Benjamin Bai is excited to take on the position of Associate Director at Amber Group. He believes that “digital asset ecosystems” have the ability to reshape wealth management, and he hopes to help uphold high standards in regulatory compliance in different regions.
Benjamin has over two decades of legal experience, and his work has been recognized by awards. He has won China Law and Practice’s IP Lawyer of the Year in 2015 and was nominated as one of the World’s Top 300 Intellectual Property Strategists and as one of the World’s 50 Most Influential People in Intellectual Property by Intellectual Asset Management and Managing Intellectual Property respectively.
Benjamin will advise the senior team of Amber Group with regard to their compliance with legal regulations and global regulations.
