Brooklyn man arrested for inappropriate acts in New York Subway

A 44-year-old Brooklyn man was arrested on a rape accusation Monday, weeks after he was allegedly caught on video performing sex acts on a body on a subway in Lower Manhattan.

Felix Rojas was charged with one count of first-degree rape for the April 9 incident aboard the R train. Investigators said he was captured on Sunday, but the circumstances are unclear.

According to officials, the investigation began with the discovery of a body on a train at Whitehall Station early Wednesday. Police promptly examined MTA subway cameras and discovered evidence of the incidents.

According to sources, the suspect performed or attempted various sex acts on the body and waited for an empty train car to carry out his crime. It is thought that the entire assault, which included hauling the body from the train seat to the floor, lasted several minutes.

According to sources, investigators believe the body was on the train for several hours before the alarming episodes occurred.
