Perdido Key, Florida.Two residents of Hoover and Calera have been identified as victims of a car crash in Florida’s Perdido Key.
The Florida Highway Patrol reported that a car crash occurred on State Route 292 at the intersection with River Road on Saturday, July 5 at around 2:57 a.m.
Two pedestrians crossing the street were struck by a car heading east on SR 292. On the spot, the pedestrians were declared dead. They were a 20-year-old girl from Calera and a 20-year-old boy from Hoover.
The car’s 47-year-old male driver from Pensacola, Florida, was unharmed in the crash.
The matter is still being investigated, and more details will be made public as they become available.
