In a disturbing trend of attacks on uniformed officials in the Big Apple over the past few days, a California man slugged a uniformed NYPD sergeant who attempted to move him out of a Times Square street early Tuesday. The incident was captured on camera.
The officer’s attempt to lead 21-year-old Aaron Cuauhtemoc Domsky out of the street near 7th Avenue and West 46th Street at approximately 2:45 a.m. was captured on camera and shared on Instagram.
The video shows a hostile Domsky turn on the officer, giving him a single blow to the jaw and fleeing while the shell-shocked police followed.
According to a criminal complaint, Domsky elbowed a 35-year-old woman in the back of the head and slapped a 19-year-old woman in the face as he attempted to flee, forcing her to fall and bang her head on the ground.
According to court filings, Domsky, a resident of Costa Mesa, was ultimately taken into custody and charged with second and third degree assault.
At his appearance on Wednesday, Domsky was ordered to be jailed on $30,000 cash money, $80,000 insurance company bond, and $60,000 partially secured surety bond.

He is due back in court on Friday and was also ordered to have a mental health examination.
At least three additional recent crimes against police officers and other uniformed officials have occurred since Friday, following the Times Square attack.
Just before 10 p.m. on Friday, a police officer canvassing a high-end retail establishment on Bedford Avenue close to North 4th Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, reported seeing four individuals trying to rob the establishment.
According to police, the group attacked the detective when he tried to stop the heist. Suspects like those are still at large.
According to police, the most startling instance occurred when a bus passenger in the Bronx brandished a gun and threatened a ticket inspector who would not allow a woman who lacked the funds to board.
A man on the bus then offered to pay for her after an Eagle Team inspector for the BX 21 turned away a woman who didn’t have the money for the fare, according to police.
After becoming angry with the ticket inspector, the man got off the bus and went back to 163rd Street and 3rd Avenue to brandish a weapon and threaten the MTA employee.
The gun-wielding lunatic was confronted by nearby police, but he dropped the weapon and ran away.
Christopher Neal, 56, was accused of criminal possession of a weapon, disorderly behavior, and menacing. According to police sources, NYPD officers were able to seize the gun and apprehend the suspected offender.

These heinous attacks follow the vicious mugging of an off-duty NYPD officer in the Bronx on Saturday while he was still in uniform.
The cop was knocked down, held at knifepoint, and had the NYPD gun belt stolen from his vehicle, according to the video.
After escaping to Virginia with his mother, 23-year-old Taveon Hargrove was arrested in relation to the attack on Tuesday.
The wounded officer’s handcuffs were used by the US Marshals Regional Fugitive Task Force to apprehend a bleeding Hargrove in North Chesterfield.
On Wednesday, the NYPD located and made public a picture of Hargrove’s fugitive accomplice, Wayne Lucas, 22.
