Is Clarkson’s Farm Season 2 confirmed?

Rumours were circulating that Clarkson’s Farm series was cancelled thus a petition was created by fans who adore the show to renew the series. Nonetheless, Jeremy Clarkson took to his Instagram handle to let the fans know that the show is to be renewed. As per a report by Deadline, the filming for the next season has already commenced for the fall season. 

So be rest assured because Clarkson’s Farm is definitely returning with a second season but it’ll take a while before the second season finally arrives on Amazon Prime.

Clarkson’s Farm Season 2 Release Date: When is it?

There’s no official release date provided for the second season of Clarkson’s Farm. The show’s first season was released on June 11, 2021, comprising eight episodes in total. The renewable announcement for the second instalment shortly arrived in July 2021. 

However, Clarkson claimed that the next season will take about a year or more before it hits our screens. BBC reported that the first season took around 2 years (including breaks in between). 

In response to the promotional post from “The Grand Tour” about the comeback for the next season Clarkson stated, “Not soon. It’ll take a year to film it. That’s how farming works.”  He also revealed that he started farming in 2019, and the mere fact behind the first season which was released in June 2021.

So don’t expect to see the new season anytime soon but it’s likely to arrive in late 2022 or early 2023.

The cast of Clarkson’s Farm season 2: Who is in it?

In a short video by Clarkson, he confirmed that the full cast of the first season would be reprising their roles for the second season. He expressed, “All the crew are back: Cheerful Charlie, Lisa, Gerald, and the fetus in the tractor (Kaleb Cooper).”

Kaleb Cooper via Country Living said, “Personally I would love to [do more TV] but as long as it’s included in the farming side of stuff. I wouldn’t want to do anything that isn’t farming.”

Clarkson’s Farm season 2 Plot: What to expect?

According to Deadline, Clarkson wishes to transform while enlarging his farming proficiency in the next season. In the meantime, cast members have dropped some hints for the upcoming season. Clarkson shared images of two cows, revealing that he has added more animals to his farm. In addition to that, Kaleb Cooper posted an image of a damaged gate on his Instagram that captioned: “It was all going so well until someone decided they didn’t like the gate anymore, wonder who that was.” 

Fans can also expect more of the trickeries that have changed Clarkson’s Farm into “Jeremy’s unfiltered love letter to farming,” as remarked by Dan Grabiner, the boss of Amazon Studios’ U.K. originals.

He added, “It is that authenticity, charm and humour, combined with the farm’s fantastic characters, which have made the series such a remarkable hit with audiences.”
