CHICAGO – The highs on Sunday were a little cooler than usual, in the upper 40s and low 50s. The highs in early April are usually in the mid-50s, and it will be cooler than that for most of the week.
Tonight, the sky will be mostly clear to partly cloudy, and by Monday morning, the lows will be in the low to mid 30s.
Early Monday, a cold front is likely to pass through, which could bring a short band of snow. Even though the accumulations don’t look like much, it may be harder to see during the morning drive. The highest point of the day on Monday will be around 30 degrees.
Yesterday’s clouds have gone away, and today’s highs are still much lower than usual. Most places will have temperatures in the mid-40s by Tuesday afternoon.
It’s possible that it will rain or snow again again Wednesday and Thursday. The temperatures will reach the 40s.
The sun is coming back out, and things will start to change as the weekend approaches. Friday’s highs will be close to 50 and will be mostly sunny to partly cloudy.
The high will be in the upper 50s on Saturday, and the low will be in the 60s on Sunday.
