A head-on collision on Saturday afternoon in Sonoma County killed one driver and injured two others, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision happened on Occidental Road, east of Mill Station Road, about ten miles west of Santa Rosa. The highway patrol was called to the scene at 3:58 p.m.
According to preliminary findings, a Honda Accord driving east on Occidental Road drifted into the oncoming lane and collided head-on with a Jeep Wrangler, the CHP said.
The driver of the Honda was pronounced deceased on the scene. According to the highway patrol, the driver and passenger of the Jeep sustained serious injuries and were sent to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital.
