DUI driver led Officers on Wild chase through San Fernando Valley; LAPD later joined the chase

Police were pursuing a suspected DUI driver in the San Fernando Valley when they stopped into a parking garage on Saturday night.

At times, the suspect could be observed speeding along the 5 Freeway at over 100 mph with their headlights and taillights off.

After the suspect entered the interstate, California Highway Patrol officers took over the pursuit from the Los Angeles Police Department.

At approximately 8:45 p.m., the suspect exited the freeway and began driving through surface streets near Burbank at nearly 100 mph.

They arrived at the NOHO West shopping center just before 9 p.m. and parked in a building.

Police stated the chase began on the 14 Freeway in Canyon Country.

It is unknown whether any arrests have been made.
