PELHAM

– First Baptist Church of Pelham is igniting excitement this summer with the launch of its first-ever BLAZE Week, a brand-new initiative combining the church’s annual Vacation Bible School and RAISE Camp into one action-packed week of fun, creativity and faith.

BLAZE Week will take place from Monday, July 14 to Friday, July 18 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, and is open to children in K4 through fifth grade. The program is completely free and includes lunch each day.

The morning session will feature this year’s VBS theme, “True North,” where students will engage in high-energy worship, games and Bible lessons designed to point them toward the truth of God’s Word. From 9 a.m. to noon, children will dive into stories and activities that bring Scripture to life in exciting and engaging ways.

After lunch, from 12:45 to 3 p.m., students in first through fifth grade will take part in RAISE Camp, a creative arts experience offering electives such as woodworking, culinary arts, drama, guitar, dance and more.

Families can choose to register their children for the full day or pick the portion that works best for their schedule.

The new format reflects a desire to offer families a meaningful and creative summer experience grounded in the love of Christ.

“We can’t wait to make this the best summer yet for your student, and we’d love for them to join us,” read a statement from FBC Pelham. “You’ll love BLAZE Week because it’s safe, fun and faith filled, it’s a creative outlet for your child and it’s 100 percent free.”

Registration is now open at Fbcpelham.org/blaze.
