A vehicle overturned on Highway 101 caused significant traffic delays near San Luis Obispo on Sunday afternoon.
A small white SUV veered off northbound Highway 101 and crashed into an orchard just before the Higuera Street off-ramp at 1:47 p.m., as reported by the California Highway Patrol on its traffic incident page.
An SUV overturned as it descended, landing 15 feet from the highway down the embankment, according to the CHP report.
The extent of injuries from the crash remains uncertain. As of 2:30 p.m., ambulances and a tow truck were on their way, as reported by the CHP page.
