After season 3 hit the screens, Freeform announced that the show is returning for another season. The fourth installment of Good Trouble is already in the works. Starring an impeccable star cast: Callie (Maia Mitchell), Mariana (Cierra Ramirez), Alice (Sherry Cola), and others, the show received a lot of positive responses from the audiences and critics!
Good Trouble was renewed for season 4 and it’s going to air sometime in 2022. As for season 5, we do not have any official confirmation from the makers of the show or the production team. Good Trouble Season 5: When’s it going to be released?
The official release date for season 4 hasn’t been announced yet, according to The Hollywood Reporter, it will air sometime in 2022. That said, season 5 is far from being released now.
Good Trouble Season 5: Who’s going to be in the Star Cast?
Adhering to the cliffhangers in the third installment, it’s probable that the cast members from the previous seasons will return. Showrunner Joanna Johnson teased to TVLine that Good Trouble season 4 “might have some new characters”. As for season 5, we do not have any official updates regarding the star cast. Is Callie (Maia Mitchell) Leaving ‘Good Trouble’?
Is Callie going to be in Good Trouble season 4 and 5 or did her storyline end with season 3? Well, we do not have any official announcements regarding her not featuring in the upcoming installments. Even the actress herself did not make any public revelations. That said, we do not know anything for sure, as of now. However, the executive producer said Maia Mitchell may be back for the next season.
Good Trouble Season 5: What to expect?
The producer of the show teased that season 4 (considering that it’s yet to be released) will have a lot of twists and turns, including Gael and Isabella’s pregnancy, Fight Club girls trying to launch their app, and Malika’s brand-new work world!
“You’re going to see more of everything that I hope that everyone loves about the show and more of the community, more of our characters hanging out together at the Coterie, and finding that comfort that we all find in the community because the world is so hard,” Johnson continued. “There’s a lot of that in [the next] season, this theme of, ‘Hey, we’re better together, and there’s comfort in our community, and let’s turn to each other to make this life a little less hard.'”
