The Indiana Fever won the Commissioner’s Cup trophy for the first time in their existence, despite all odds. On Tuesday night, the Fever defeated the scorching Minnesota Lynx 74-59.
They also succeeded without Caitlin Clark, their standout guard, who has been sidelined for the past few games due to a groin ailment. Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell were among the few important players for Indiana who scored in double figures. Natasha Howard, a veteran, scored 16 points and pulled down 12 rebounds to win MVP.
