Influencer Found Dead After Chilling Facebook Post, Husband Dies by Suicide as Police Approach

After writing a sinister Facebook post, a Georgia influencer was discovered dead, and her husband committed suicide after being apprehended by law enforcement.

According to a statement from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, authorities in Twin City, Georgia, responded to a call regarding a domestic disturbance at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 14.

According to the statement, responding officers discovered 27-year-old Zaria Khadejah Carr unconscious at the scene and subsequently declared her dead.

The GBI claims that Zaria’s car was missing and that her husband, Shamarcus Jameal Carr, was not present at the residence at the time. When the local sheriff’s office located the car in Wayne County at approximately 11 p.m., authorities issued an alert.

Shamarcus, 36, shot himself when police tried to enforce a traffic stop. According to the GBI’s statement, the injury ultimately caused his death.

According to a person close to the couple, Shamarcus is “The Frenchman” on Facebook, where he was a French bulldog breeder with 44,000 followers.

Images of maternity shoots with a woman the source identifies as “Dutchess Dior,” whose first name, the source confirms, is Zaria, can be found on Shamarcus’ page.

A last-ditch appeal for assistance was posted on the Dutchess Dior Facebook page on June 14 at approximately 6 p.m.

“I really don’t know what to do,” according to the post, “.. but i need help before i lose my life or freedom ! My kids need me !”

GBI investigators stated that they are “aware” of the Facebook pages, but they declined to confirm whether or not the Facebook profiles belonged to the couple.

It has not been determined what caused Zaria’s death, nor has it been determined what injuries she sustained that ultimately led to her passing.

At this time, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office is conducting an investigation into the death of Shamarcus.

Due to the fact that it was a “ongoing investigation,” the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office was unable to provide any additional information regarding the case when PEOPLE reached out to them.
