Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailo remained in the NFL Top 100 in 2024 despite missing six games due to injuries.
The NFL Top 100, which has been around for 15 years, lists the top 100 players in the league as chosen by the players for NFL Films.
The NFL announced on Friday that Tagovailoa was ranked 91st in the voting for the 2025 list.
After leading the NFL in passing yards in 2023, Tagovailoa placed No. 36 in 2024, and the former Alabama All-American made his first appearance in the Top 100 at No. 82 in 2023.
In 2024, Tagovailoa missed the last two weeks of the regular season due to a hip injury and four games while on injured reserve due to a concussion. Tagovailoa had a league-high 72.9 percent completion rate while on the field, completing 291 of 399 passes. This was his third consecutive season with a passing-efficiency rating above 100, with 2,867 passing yards, 19 touchdowns, and seven interceptions.

The NFL Top 100 will be unveiled two players at a time on the social media platform X every weekday until September 1, when the top 10 players for 2025—chosen by their peers—will be revealed on NFL Network at 7 p.m. CDT. This year, the NFL Top 100 will adopt a new digital-first structure.
The first week of the 2025 NFL Top 100 players, ranked No. 91 through No. 100, was concluded with Tagovailoa’s announcement. The first player from an Alabama high school or college to attend the unveiling was the quarterback for the Dolphins.
