A knife-wielding man in the Bronx was shot and seriously injured by an NYPD officer Thursday night after he allegedly charged at the officers.

According to the NYPD, at approximately 11:20 p.m., police were called to a complaint of a guy inside an apartment on Mulford Avenue in the borough’s Pelham Bay neighborhood brandishing a knife.
