According to records obtained, a man is suspected of kidnapping a lady and threatening her with a meat cleaver while he was driving on a motorway in Las Vegas, causing her to jump to safety from the speeding automobile.

A woman tried to leap out of a moving vehicle on Interstate 15 close to Flamingo Road on Friday, April 25, according to a report to Nevada State Police. A woman was discovered on the road by a state officer who arrived.

According to documents, the woman informed police that she was seeing a 40-year-old guy named Jose Urias Vargas, who had asked her earlier in the day if she would talk to him during her work break. The woman eventually managed to leap off the vehicle.

Later that day, Vargas was apprehended by police. According to officers, Vargas seemed to be operating a vehicle while intoxicated while carrying two huge knives and children.

According to documents, Vargas is accused of domestic violence, coercion, and kidnapping. Police stated additional charges were likely at the time of his arrest.

Vargas was still being held on $100,000 bail on Monday.
