A man from Texas is charged with attacking a person who already has a traumatic brain injury, allegedly because he made a derogatory comment about a woman.
According to the arrest document, Thomas threw the victim to the ground, punched him, and then began stomping on him.
The sufferer reportedly had injuries to his cheek and left ear in addition to a broken ankle. The event happened on May 18 in Bellmead, outside of Waco, in the 1300 block of Behrens Circle.

Detectives apparently discovered video that showed the incident, despite the victim’s claim that his pre-existing brain impairment prevented him from remembering it. They were successful in identifying Thomas as the alleged offender.
Thomas is also charged with attempting to sway a witness who observed the assault. During a traffic stop that same day, Thomas was taken into custody by police.
Once in the back of the patrol car, he allegedly started ranting.

It is alleged that Thomas said, “Enjoy your death.” Motherf—er, I’m going to make sure your a— is shot.
According to reports, Thomas acknowledged attacking the woman in an interview with detectives following Miranda. According to the affidavit, he said the victim made offensive remarks about a woman, which sparked a fight.
The bond for Thomas is $26,000. An attorney was not listed in the records.
