The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a deadly automobile collision that occurred on Hayden Lake Road shortly before 4 a.m. Friday.
According to a press statement, sheriffs responded to reports of an unconscious male in a ditch near Hayden Lake Road and Rhapsody Lane.
According to the sheriff, the man had died by the time they arrived. During the inquiry, they discovered a vehicle 60 feet down an embankment.
According to a statement, the individual was engaged in a single-car accident. When he attempted to walk to the road for help, he died from his injuries.
According to Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office, evidence at the site suggests that alcohol and/or narcotics played a role in the crash.
