Early Friday morning, a car on Raleigh’s Rock Quarry Road collided with a power pole.
There was only one car involved. When the automobile collided, according to the police, it went airborne, probably ejecting the lone occupant.
Luckily, the driver’s injuries were not life-threatening.
About 200 residences in the vicinity of the collision are without electricity, according to Duke Energy. The projected restoration time, according to the outage map, is 9:15 a.m.
Duke Energy has been prompt in fixing that number, which began at about 560.
Even though the collision brought down power lines near a road, as of this early morning, it is not anticipated to have an effect on commuter traffic.
