The vile deviant who allegedly raped a body on a Manhattan subway train for 30 minutes is an illegal immigrant who entered the US from Mexico at least five times before being arrested for the horrible deed, The Post has exclusively revealed.
Felix Rojas, 44, unlawfully crossed the US-Mexico border “on several occasions” in the late 1990s before being apprehended by Border Patrol officials and voluntarily returning, according to an ICE spokesperson.
However, Rojas appears to have crossed the border at least once more and went undetected by immigration authorities until NYPD officers arrested him Sunday night in connection with the shocking defilement of 37-year-old family man Jorge Gonzalez, who died unexpectedly on a R train nearly three weeks ago, according to a spokesperson.
A gut-wrenching court hearing this week revealed what Rojas allegedly did to Gonzalez after he spotted the deceased or dying family man sprawled on a train bench April 8.
According to authorities, surveillance footage showed Rojas first rifle through Gonzalez’s pockets to allegedly rob him before returning to sexually violate the man’s corpse.
According to prosecutors, the alleged necrophiliac repeatedly zipped up his pants and tugged Gonzalez’s trousers up as the train came to a stop in order to escape being caught in the depraved act.
According to prosecutors, the debased rape took place over the period of more than 30 minutes.
According to accounts, Gonzalez died of natural causes.
Rojas, who is facing numerous allegations of rape and grand larceny, was ordered jailed without bail.
He brought himself in to the NYPD using a “passport from another country,” according to prosecutors, but his immigration status was not publicly revealed until today.
An ICE official, who identified Rojas as Felix Jeronimo-Rojas, claimed US Border Patrol encountered him three times in 1998 and once in 1999.
According to the spokeswoman, Rojas has always returned to Mexico freely.
