A “medical episode” may have caused a driver to lose control and collide with numerous cars at a North Las Vegas crossroads on Monday night, according to police.
The fatal crash occurred shortly before 11 p.m. near the intersection of Losee and Ann roads.
According to North Las Vegas police, a lady in her 60s driving north on Losee struck several construction barriers before colliding with three automobiles parked at a red signal at Ann.
The driver of a Mercedes perished at the site; police stated she never applied the brakes, and it is likely she had a medical episode prior to the incident. Another motorist sustained minor injuries.
The crash is being investigated. The Clark County Coroner’s Office will announce the woman’s identification.
