Authorities have verified that a collision that featured a biker who was purportedly attempting to elude sheriff’s deputies resulted in the deaths of three persons in San Bernardino County, including two fatalities who were not involved in the collision.
Deputy sheriffs from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department attempted to execute a traffic stop on the biker in Redlands for reckless driving at approximately 10:30 in the morning. This sad event took place at that time.
“The driver of the motorcycle did not yield and fled from the deputies,” SBSD Public Information Officer Mara Rodriguez stated. “The motorcycle driver collided [with] a vehicle on Redlands Boulevard near Tennessee Street.”
It was determined that all three people who were involved in the collision had passed away.
The aftermath of the collision is captured on video, and it looks that a black Toyota Prius is seen flipped over on the roadway.
There are also a significant number of law enforcement officers and medical staff from the fire department present at the scene.
objects from the Toyota Prius appeared to have flowed out of the vehicle, either as a consequence of the hit or when crews rescued the victims from the vehicle.
Debris from the collision littered the pavement, and it appeared that objects from within the vehicle had spilled out.
It is not clear where the motorcycle came to a stop following the high-speed collision, despite the fact that the intersection was sealed off as investigators worked at the area.
