Motorcyclist hospitalized after crash on west side of Indianapolis, Probe ongoing

On Friday evening, the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to a serious collision that occurred on the west side of the city. The accident left a motorcyclist in critical condition.

Police officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were dispatched to 57 Gasoline Alley at around 4:58 p.m. in response to a collision that had occurred in the vicinity and resulted in serious injuries to individuals.

When officers arrived, they discovered a person who was suffering from “critical” injuries, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department. They received quick medical assistance and were sent to a nearby hospital for treatment after being transported there. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department has confirmed that the crash only involved the motorcyclist.

As a consequence of the collision, Gasoline Alley was closed for a period of several hours between Rockville Road and W. Vermont Street. The Indiana State Police (IMPD) announced that the roadway had reopened just after 7:30 p.m.
