After authorities searched her sexy business and house and seized luxury items, a Tesla, and a teddy bear filled with $600,000 in cash, the proprietor of an illegal spa in New Jersey was nabbed on prostitution charges.
After a year-long undercover operation, police invaded Bliss Spa in Edison on Thursday, arresting Daniela Diienno, 47, and four other women.
A 2025 Tesla Model Y, Rolex and Cartier watches, and $650,000 in cash, including the sizeable sum sewn shut within the lovable toy, were also found at Diienno’s residence during the investigation, according to authorities.
It was the greatest asset seizure in the township’s history, with authorities also recovering an extra $104,373 from the spa owner’s bank accounts.
“This operation is a direct result of the commitment and coordination between departments and agencies that have worked tirelessly to target and dismantle organized criminal enterprises operating under the guise of legitimate business,” Edison Police Chief Tom Bryan stated.
“The amount of cash seized and the elaborate concealment methods used to show just how sophisticated and profitable these illegal operations can be. We will continue our efforts to rid our community of these establishments.”
Additionally, police detained Alisson Cunningham, 26, of Roselle; Maria Palacios, 45, of Yonkers, New York; Eduardo Beilfus, 26, of Newark; and Vanessa Bosada, 30, of Maspeth, New York.
They were all freed on summonses after being accused of prostitution or soliciting prostitution. The four women’s involvement in the prostitution ring was not immediately apparent.

According to authorities, Diilenno was charged with first-degree money laundering, second-degree organised street criminal promotion, third-degree prostitution promotion, and fourth-degree prostitution house maintenance.
According to the publications, she was being detained at the Middlesex County Adult Correction Centre while a detention hearing was being held.
Following many infractions of the health code, the spa’s business licence was also suspended.

Since Edison officials began cracking down on local businesses suspected of having ties to prostitution and drugs in 2022, the obscene establishment is the most recent risqué racket to close.
“This initiative was launched by my administration with a clear mission: to restore a sense of safety and integrity to our neighborhoods and commercial zones,” Mayor Sam Joshi stated.
