Ohio Man Allegedly Sets Mother of His Child on Fire, Causing Serious Injuries

According to police, an Ohio man allegedly lit his child’s mother on fire by “dousing her with gasoline and lighting her on fire,” resulting in significant burns that required surgery and medical attention.

According to his criminal complaint, which was submitted to Toledo Municipal Court last week, Delvon Stone, 33, is charged with felonious assault, aggravated arson, and domestic violence in relation to the fire attack on his child’s mother on April 28.

After discussing the incident with the victim, Stone was taken into custody.

“The defendant and the victim share a child together,” according to the complaint.

It claims that “the defendant assaulted the victim by dousing her in gasoline and setting her on fire.” Her body was severely burned as a result, necessitating surgery and medical attention. This information comes from the victim.

Stone was granted a $250,000 bond when he appeared in court on Tuesday. The lawsuit states that he has been convicted of domestic violence at least twice before.

According to court documents, Stone asked for and was given a public defender on Tuesday.
