Two people were rushed to the hospital following a significant car accident in Denver that involved three vehicles, one of which was stolen, according to Denver police.
The crash occurred along 14th Avenue and Federal Boulevard, according to a Denver police post on X Tuesday afternoon. The southbound lanes of Federal are closed.
According to a Denver police spokesperson, preliminary evidence suggests that the at-fault driver was driving a stolen car at high speeds south of Federal when he collided with two stopped vehicles in traffic. The driver lost control and collided with a utility pole.
According to the Denver Fire Department, workers extricated an individual who was pinned in the incident. The fire department shared photos on X that showed multiple seriously damaged vehicles.
