One killed in fiery 4-vehicle crash in Carson; 3 Hospitalized

A multi-vehicle collision that occurred in Carson on Friday night resulted in the death of one individual and the hospitalisation of three others.

As soon as the collision occurred near the intersection of Figueroa Street and Sepulveda Boulevard, sheriff’s deputies from Los Angeles County responded to the scene.

Four automobiles were involved in the collision that resulted in fatalities. According to the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department, one of the automobiles was travelling northbound on Figueroa Street when it collided with three other vehicles not far from the intersection.

All of the automobiles, including one that was entirely crushed and destroyed, have suffered significant damage, as evidenced by photographs taken at the scene.

When paramedics arrived at the scene, they determined that one of the individuals had passed away. There were three additional individuals who were taken to the hospital, and their conditions are unclear. A fourth person was sent to the hospital for treatment and then discharged.

It is not known what caused the collision, and the facts that surrounded the occurrence are still being taken into consideration by the investigation. The identify of the victim was not disclosed as of yet.

During the time that deputies were working to clear the scene, the roads in the region were closed.
