On Wednesday evening in Longview, a person was killed when they were struck by a pickup vehicle, according to the Police Department.
An accident involving a pickup truck and a person occurred in the 1600 block of Pine Tree Road at approximately 10:36 p.m., as reported by the Longview Police Department. Officers responded to the scene of the accident.
According to the authorities, the cops investigated the situation and found that a person was attempting to cross the street but did not give the truck the right of way.
The individual was subsequently transported to a nearby hospital, where they ultimately passed away. As of the time this article was written, their identity had not been disclosed.
