Nearly three weeks after allegedly pepper-spraying another woman in the face and then repeatedly stabbing her outside of a strip club in Baltimore, a 21-year-old Maryland woman was taken into custody.
Authorities said that De’Siya A. Parker was arrested on Monday and charged with numerous charges, including assault, reckless endangerment, and attempted first and second-degree murder.
Parker is charged with beating and stabbing a 35-year-old woman outside an adult entertainment facility in the 400 block of East Baltimore Street, according to a news release from the Baltimore Police Department. The incident happened on May 25 at around 12:45 a.m.
Authorities were able to locate Parker and arrest her on June 9 after conducting a preliminary investigation.
Court filings state that two ladies got into a physical argument in front of Club Pussycat while police were already in the neighbourhood conducting a regular business check. Bystanders reportedly assisted police in breaking up the altercation and separating the women.
According to reports, both women were checked and no weapons were discovered on them.
Police claimed that Parker could be heard stating, “Someone going to die tonight,” shortly after the initial altercation was broken up. However, they acknowledged in a probable cause document that they were aware Parker was unarmed at the time. After that, Parker was observed leaving the area.
According to authorities, the alleged knife attack occurred when the victim was outside conversing with a man who worked at Club Pussycat later that evening, when Parker returned to the same strip club.
Parker passed by, looking at the victim, while the man claimed police he was talking to the victim.
Another altercation broke out between the women when he allegedly witnessed Parker take out a can of pepper spray and aim it at the victim’s face. Following a brief altercation, Parker ran south on foot as the victim collapsed to the ground, bleeding.
According to reports, Parker was carrying a pocket knife and a braided wig that were discovered at the scene.

Investigators were informed by a staff member at the neighbouring Crazy John’s Restaurant and Arcade that Parker attempted to buy a pocketknife after the initial altercation with the victim but was denied because she was “irate.”
Parker was later able to obtain a pocketknife at Stop 1 Grocery Plus, which is located directly across the street from Crazy John’s, according to police confirmation.
Parker allegedly pepper-sprayed and then stabbed the woman, who was taken to a nearby hospital and treated for injuries to her lower back, wrist, and shoulder, according to surveillance footage from a nearby Krispy Krunchy Chicken.
According to documents, Parker was taken to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where she was as of Thursday afternoon.
