Maxwell will serve on SEARUC’s Executive Committee and will only perform the duties of each position until they become President in 2024.
As a result of the Mississippi Public Service Commission Chairman’s speech, Mississippi Public Service Commission was unanimously elected as 2nd Vice President of SEARUC for the upcoming year.
The chairman, Dane Maxwell, said the following: “I am excited and honored to represent Mississippi on The Executive Committee. I will continue my endeavor to gain more knowledge about laws, policies and regulations and serve as President of AAPRP in 2024”.
In the summer of 2024, the President of SEARUC will be an attendee of the annual conference representing Mississippi. This event brings together many people from across the Southeastern region of the country to discuss regulations and utilities.
SEARUC provides resources for public utility regulation in certain states. They provide resources and promote cooperation among a group of 12 member states.
