Runaway Dog joins therapy program after Florida Highway Chase

Police in South Florida have found a new home for a dog that led them on a different kind of high-speed chase.

The dog was found running free on the highway on Monday and was caught by the Florida Highway Patrol.

Because of all the chaos, the dog was named Taylor Swift.

Since then, when the dog was taken to the Humane Society of Broward County, Taylor Swift discovered that she had a lot of friends.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office was one of those.

The dog was picked out by deputies because it would be a great addition to their Paws and Stripes program, which teaches rescued dogs like Taylor to be therapy dogs.

Taylor Swift is now going to get training to make sure she’s ready for a lot of different settings.

Her adoption fee was paid for by the Dolly’s Dream Foundation, and she will have a great time shopping at the pet store at the shelter.
